“Combining State-of-the-art Medicine with Old Fashioned Compassion”

Your pet is a part of your family. That’s why it’s important to find a veterinary facility in Baton Rouge with a knowledgeable staff and equipped with the latest technology to provide your pet with the best quality of care. Most of all, you want a gentle medical staff that will treat your pet with the same level of love and attention they receive at home. Married veterinarians and owners Dr. Brett and Dr. Lucie Berryhill have maintained those same principles since Staring Plaza Veterinary Center (SPVC) opened its well-known "Dog" and "Cat " doors in 1987.

SPVC maintains beautiful facilities (including a brand-new, cats-only boarding wing and playground!) and state-of-the-art equipment to provide our clients with the highest quality of care. We offer ultrasound, laser surgery, therapeutic laser treatment and a full In-House lab. We are also proud of our excellent, kind and well-trained staff.

WE ARE A “CAT-FRIENDLY” HOSPITAL

home2SPVC is one of the first 25 veterinary hospitals in the country to be designated a CATalyst Council "Cat Friendly" hospital. We separate cat waiting rooms, exam rooms, and boarding facilities. We also use cat-soothing pheromone products from Feliway, which helps cats feel calm and comfortable during their stay. Feel free to stop by, tour our practice, and meet our veterinarians and staff. We are always happy to meet people who care about their pets as much as we do. READ MORE
